FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Payment
    Please note a booking is only accepted when you receive written confirmation from us. Any car parking, toll charges and congestion charges incurred in order to fulfil the booking will be charged at cost. Any variations to the journey booked, such as additional pick up’s / drop off’s, extra mileage and or time may be subject to extra charges. Waiting time over 10mins will be charged at £20.00 per hour, or part there-of. Surcharges will apply to bookings carried out on Bank Holidays, inc Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Eve after 18.00hrs, and all day on New Year’s Day. All prices are in pounds sterling and exclusive of vat. All payments for account bookings will be subject to a 10% surcharge of the total invoice, which will be due for payment within 14 days of the invoice date. A charge of 3% over the bank lending rate will be added for late payment of invoices. Payments by credit card will be taken before the journey and any additional charges will be charged to the same credit card. All prices are exclusive of VAT charged at the current rate.
  • Cancellation Policy
    If a booking is cancelled within 12 hours of the requested pick up time, we reserve the right to make a full charge for the journey booked. Cancellations within 24 hours will be charged at 50% of the booking charge. If the passenger does not appear and make contact with our driver at the booked time and designated pick up point, we reserve the right to make a full charge for the journey. Our booking cancellation policy reflects the availability of the vehicles in our fleet. Upon acceptance of your booking we reserve the availability of the vehicle for you, and subsequently refuse all other bookings for that vehicle at that time and date. We reserve the right to cancel journeys if advised by the Police, Met Office or Highways agency, that it is unsafe travel due to severe weather conditions. In these circumstances a full refund will be provided, but no further compensation will be due. Travel Style Group Ltd request a minimum 24 hours notice for any online booking. In the event that we are late for a pick up, please telephone your allocated driver. We will not accept any charges for alternative transport not arranged by us.
  • Terms and Conditions Continued
    Travel Style Group will endeavour to ensure vehicles arrive at the time and place requested. We cannot however accept responsibility for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, such as but not limited to, mechanical failure, traffic jams, traffic accidents or extreme weather conditions. Nor do we accept responsibility for any consequential loss. Travel Style Group shall be under no liability whatsoever to the customer for any indirect loss (including loss of profit) suffered by the customer arising out of a breach by the Travel Style Group of this contract. The driver will travel by the most appropriate route on the day, unless instructed otherwise by the client, in which case payment clause 3 may apply. Unless specified at the time of booking, we may not be able to accommodate additional pick-ups or drop-offs for any journey, although every effort will be made to meet such requirements. Our vehicles can only carry up to the amount of passengers legally permitted to do so. They are also limited to how much luggage they can carry safely. Please note we may refuse to carry passengers with excessive luggage. However you will still be charged the full cost. All passengers must wear seat belts provided. TSG do not accept responsibility or liability for injuries, accidents or death as a result of passengers failing to wear the seatbelts provided. Child seats must be secured by the passengers providing them. TSG will not be responsible for the safety or fitting of child seats. If our driver is asked to wait at the beginning or during a journey, waiting time is chargeable at our current standard rate. Nothing contained in these terms and conditions affects the client’s statutory rights. Non-airport collections: Waiting time will be charged after 10 mins of the booked time, at our current standard rate. We reserve the right to refuse entry to vehicles to anyone who is thought to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs / or whose behaviour poses a threat to the safety of the driver, vehicle or other passengers within the vehicle. We further reserve the right to terminate any journey due to unreasonable or improper behaviour by any passenger. If any special cleaning of any vehicle is required because it has been left in an unreasonable state by a passenger / client, we reserve the right to charge the cost of cleaning and loss of earnings, due to the vehicle being unable to be used, to the passenger / client. Any damage caused to the inside or outside of the vehicle by passengers / clients will be charged accordingly. We reserve the right to substitute any vehicle or chauffeur / driver, and may use sub-contracted vehicles on occasions. Travel Style Group will not be held responsible for passengers’ personal belongings, it is the passenger’s responsibility to ensure the safety and security of personal belongings. We will not accept responsibility for any items left in the vehicle. Lost property should be reported to Travel Style Group and the police as soon as possible. Nothing contained in these terms and conditions affects the client’s statutory rights.
  • Third Party Services
    Whilst TSG take great care to ensure we only partner with service providers who work to the same high standards as ourselves. All our service partners work to their own terms and conditions of trade. As such TSG cannot take any responsibility for the services provided by our partners.
